Mentioned, then cited, then recommended — and where the drop-off happens.
Being mentioned, being cited, and being recommended are three different outcomes, and the gap between them is where the work is. A brand mentioned often but rarely cited has a sourcing problem: AI talks about it without pointing anywhere. A brand cited often but rarely recommended has a positioning problem: AI trusts the source and still sends the customer elsewhere. Each step below is measured against the step above it.
Per answer: every AI answer counted on its own, over the selected dates. Mentioned here means offered as an option; cited means the answer cited or recommended you.

Citation volume, source diversity, and authority over time.
Every source AI platforms cite when they talk about you. Citations are the websites and pages that AI systems reference when recommending your business. A diverse citation portfolio from authoritative sources increases the likelihood of being recommended across platforms.

Per run: how many citations AI gave (left scale) and how many different websites they came from (right scale)
Every source cited in the AI answers inside the selected dates and filters, questions that name you included. A citation is one link, so a website linked twice in one answer counts twice; Answers counts each answer once. Each address is its own row, so blog.example.com is not folded into example.com. Seen covers the selected dates; All time comes from the stored ledger of every run. Click a tier to show only those sources.

Visibility, share of voice, average position and sentiment, split by type of question.
Drill into your visibility metrics by prompt type and platform. Each metric tells a different part of the story: visibility measures if you appear, share of voice measures how often relative to competitors, position measures where you rank, and sentiment measures how AI describes you.
AI answers that named you alone, with competitors, or not at all, on questions that do not name you.
How you perform against competitors in answers to questions that do not name you. Each count is AI answers: one per question, AI tool and repeat, so one question asked on five tools three times gives fifteen answers. When someone asks AI to recommend a business like yours, are you mentioned alone, alongside competitors, or not at all? This section reveals your competitive positioning in AI recommendations.
Which pages on your site AI systems cite as sources, and how often. A citation is a link; it does not show which words AI took from the page.
Grouped by page, ordered by citation count. A citation is a link AI attached to an answer; it is not a quotation, and it does not show which passage AI used.
